Together for a
zero-waste fashion
Beside Programme is the new service developed by the Bisentino Group to support fashion brands in applying circular business models, with practical solutions for reducing the environmental impact of the textile industry.
1 Recycling Solutions
We recycle Brand's production waste from cutting and garment making processes, we transform it into fibres and finally into new finished products.
Depending on the type of material waste available, we study and design, together with Brands, the most effective recycling solution, consistent with their specific style. The goal is to transform waste into new fabrics or new textile accessories that can be added to the Brand’s collections or make their way into headquarters and shops as interior design elements.

2 Upcycling Solutions
We give a new life to the unsold and damaged garments of Brands, through tailor-made upcycling and remanufacturing.
We have an in-depth knowledge of our customers' preferences and standards. This enables us to offer them customised upcycling solutions to transform unsold or damaged branded garments into new accessories to be offered in their collections, merchandising, and in the furnishing of headquarters and shops.

Why now
Under the EU Strategy for Circular and Sustainable Textiles, the strategic plan to ensure the circularity of textile products placed on the European market by 2030, there are two relevant regulations:
- Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) which introduced a ban on the destruction of textile products;
- Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) which gives brands responsibility for the entire life cycle of their products.

Filatura di Spicciano
Filatura di Spicciano is the spinning mill 72% owned by Lanificio Bisentino, where the companies of Bisentino Group process most of their fibres. Managing this process in-house is essential to ensure the quality of the fabric, whether it is made out of virgin or recycled wool.
